married in Las Vegas couldn't be any easier than it is. There is no waiting
period and no blood tests to submit to. All you need to do is apply for
a marriage license which will be issued to you without a waiting period
and then find the chapel that you want to get married at. That's the hard
part since there are so many to choose from. It's that simple.

APPLICATION
Both bride and groom must go to the license bureau together to apply for license. They must be at least 18 years of age and people under the age of 21 will be required to show a driver's license, notorized birth certificate, pass port or military ID. |

CONSENT
People who are 16 or 17 may marry if a parent is present at the time of the application and will sign for the consent or they must have a notorized affadavit signed by a parent if the parent is not present. This document must have the date of birth of the person wishing to be married and the realtionship of the person giving permission. All wording must be written in English. No exceptions. |

WITNESSES
There must be at least one witness other than the minister but all chapels will have someone else available to act as your witness. |

The online Marriage Inquiry System allows you to look up past marriages performed in Clark County. You can also order marriage records from this website. http://www.co.clark.nv.us/recorder/mar_srch.htm Also you can order them through the mail :Clark County Recorders Office P.O.Box 551510 Las Vegas, Nevada 89155-1510 (include a self-addressed stamped envalope) and a note with the request for certified copies of certificates for marriages performed in Clark County. You will need to provide them with names of the bride and the groom, year of marriage.The fee is $10 per certified copy. A check or money order should be made out to Clark County Recorder. |

APPLICANTS
Your divorce must be finalized in the state where it was granted. The date of the final decree and the city and state are required. |
