Gambling Fact or Fiction

Once you plan your trip to Vegas you will certainly have friends and family give you advice and tell you how to beat the house and rules that they think are correct. Here are a few tips that will help you weed out what is fact and what is fiction.

1.) "That lady just dropped $200 into that machine, it is ready to pay off" FICTION: No one knows when a machine is going to pay off. A computer chip randomly chooses, so there is no macine that is ready to hit. The FACT is that the machine is probably a tight machine and if you do jump on that machine, you too will probably loose!

2.) "The Casino Managers control when machines are going to hit" FICTION: True there are a few people in the casino( and I mean only a few) that know where the tight machines are and know where the loose machines are. FACT is that they still do not know when they are going to hit and they do not control the hits.

3.) FACT Slots have been called "The One Armed Bandit" and they earned their name for a reason! Keno and Slots have the worst odds in the casino. Remember, play only what you can afford to loose and when you spent your budget for the day, walk away and you won't go home with regrets!

4.) FACT Never play slots next to each other. The Casino's will not place 2 loose machines next to each other in a casino. The reason for this is that many solts players play more than one machine at a time, if they should happen on a "hot" machine, these people will invariably feed there winnings into the machine "next door" and loose it right back, also, people usually sit next to their friend or family member while playing. You are better off walking around and look for a machine that is hitting. When the person who was hitting leaves the machine, that is a machine you should try out. If you insist on gambling together, take turns and it will make your money go farther.
